Ingredients
4 whole Pears
1 cup Berries
2 tablespoons Butter
1/4 cup Walnuts
3 tablespoons Honey
2 ounces Blue Cheese
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
Pinch of Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wash the pears and slice each in half lengthwise, scooping out the core
- Arrange the pear halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet
- Melt the butter and mix with chopped walnuts, honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt
- Fill the hollowed-out pear halves with the walnut-honey mixture
- Distribute the mixed berries around the pears
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender
- Sprinkle blue cheese on top and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is soft
- Allow to cool slightly before serving
Notes
You can prepare the pears in advance up to filling them with berries and walnuts, then bake just before serving.
