Ingredients
1 lb Sirloin Steak
1 tbsp Olive Oil (for steak)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1 Baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
2 tbsp Olive Oil (for crostini)
2 cloves Garlic, peeled and halved
8 oz Burrata Cheese
1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes per side. Rest the steak for 5-10 minutes and slice thinly
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toast for 8-10 minutes
- Rub warm baguette slices with garlic cloves
- Assemble by placing burrata on each crostini, topping with steak, and drizzling with balsamic glaze. Garnish with basil and red pepper flakes if desired
