Description

Ingredients

1 lb Sirloin Steak
1 tbsp Olive Oil (for steak)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1 Baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
2 tbsp Olive Oil (for crostini)
2 cloves Garlic, peeled and halved
8 oz Burrata Cheese
1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes per side. Rest the steak for 5-10 minutes and slice thinly
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toast for 8-10 minutes
  4. Rub warm baguette slices with garlic cloves
  5. Assemble by placing burrata on each crostini, topping with steak, and drizzling with balsamic glaze. Garnish with basil and red pepper flakes if desired

Notes

Ensure to slice the steak against the grain for tenderness.

Assemble crostini just before serving to prevent sogginess.
