Ingredients
1 (approx. 3-4 pound) Butterball Boneless Turkey Breast Roast
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Remove the Butterball turkey breast from its packaging and pat it dry
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper to form a paste
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey breast
- Optional: Sear the turkey breast in a hot skillet until golden brow
- Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker and pour the chicken broth around it
- Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
- Remove the turkey, cover with foil, and let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing
- Make gravy from the drippings, if desired, by thickening with cornstarch and water

Searing the turkey before slow cooking adds flavor.
