- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound (450g) fettuccine pasta
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups (480ml) heavy cream (full-fat)
- 1 ½ cups (150g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken dry and cut into strips. Toss with seasonings
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and cook the chicken until golden brow
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, cook fettuccine until al dente and reserve pasta water
- Start the Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet, add minced garlic and sauté
- Build the Creamy Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently to thicke
- Add the Cheese: Stir in Parmesan gradually until melted
- Combine Everything: Toss cooked pasta and chicken in the sauce until coated
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesa
