Ingredients
1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
2 cups Granulated Sugar
4 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 cup All-Purpose Flour

1/4 teaspoon Salt
12 ounces Good Quality Dark Chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream, cold

Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper
- Melt Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth
- Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt
- Combine Wet & Dry: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
- Bake the Brownies: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes
- Cool Completely: Let the brownies cool completely on a wire rack
- Melt Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl until smooth
- Whip Cream: In a large bowl, combine cold heavy cream, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form
- Fold Gently: Fold one-third of the whipped cream into cooled melted chocolate, then fold in the remaining whipped cream
- Spread Mousse: Spread the chocolate mousse evenly over the cooled brownies
- Chill Time: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight
- Serve: Lift brownies out using parchment paper, slice into squares, and dust with cocoa powder or garnish as desired
