Ingredients
2 large Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2–3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
1/2 teaspoon gochugaru (optional)
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and finely grate the potatoes
- Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a kitchen towel
- Mix the grated potatoes with flour, salt, and pepper in a large bowl
- Fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and spoon the mixture to form pancakes
- Cook each pancake for 4-6 minutes on each side until golden and crispy
- Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil
- Serve hot with dipping sauce on the side if desired
