Ingredients
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Unsalted Butter, softened
2 large Eggs, at room temperature
1 cup Whole Milk, at room temperature
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy
- Add the eggs to the creamed butter, one at a time, and beat well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and whole milk alternately, mixing until just combined
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clea
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
