Ingredients

1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Unsalted Butter, softened
2 large Eggs, at room temperature
1 cup Whole Milk, at room temperature
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy
  4. Add the eggs to the creamed butter, one at a time, and beat well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and whole milk alternately, mixing until just combined
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clea
  8. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
