Description

These Easy Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are a perfect stress-free meal combining the comforting flavors of pizza into a simple slider format, cherished by both kids and parents.

1 package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
56 ounces pepperoni slices
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the package of King's Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping them connected at the base
  2. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish, spread marinara sauce over them
  3. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, then add the remaining mozzarella cheese
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on top of the layered ingredients
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and optional red pepper flakes. Brush this mixture over the top of the rolls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden brow
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, slice into sliders, garnish with parsley, and serve

Notes

For best results, use a serrated knife to cut the rolls.
