These Easy Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are a perfect stress-free meal combining the comforting flavors of pizza into a simple slider format, cherished by both kids and parents.
Ingredients
1 package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
5–6 ounces pepperoni slices
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the package of King's Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping them connected at the base
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish, spread marinara sauce over them
- Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, then add the remaining mozzarella cheese
- Place the top half of the rolls back on top of the layered ingredients
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and optional red pepper flakes. Brush this mixture over the top of the rolls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden brow
- Let cool for a few minutes, slice into sliders, garnish with parsley, and serve
Notes
For best results, use a serrated knife to cut the rolls.
