1 loaf (16-20 ounces) Italian or French bread, unsliced
1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
45 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
1 1/2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  2. Slice the bread lengthwise, leaving a hinge at the bottom
  3. Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl until creamy
  4. Spread the garlic butter generously on the cut surfaces of the bread
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top of the buttered bread
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes
  7. Unwrap the bread and continue baking for an additional 8-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
  8. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, slice, and serve
