Description
Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli transforms humble broccoli into a crave-worthy vegetable. It proves that healthy eating can be incredibly delicious and utterly fuss-free.
Ingredients
2 large heads Broccoli
3 tablespoons Olive Oil
4–5 cloves Garlic
½ teaspoon Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
- Wash the broccoli and cut into bite-sized florets. Pat dry completely
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli with olive oil, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper until evenly coated
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 15-20 minutes until tender-crisp and slightly charred
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the broccoli and return to oven for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and golde
- Serve immediately, optionally with a squeeze of lemon juice
Notes
For added crunch, sprinkle with pine nuts or slivered almonds during the last 5-10 minutes of roasting.
You can use frozen broccoli; do not thaw before roasting, but add 5-10 minutes to the roasting time.
