Description

Hot Honey Infused Feta Chicken is a simple yet flavorful dish that combines the sweetness of hot honey with creamy feta cheese to create a delightful meal your family will love.


Ingredients

1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled or a block
1/4 cup hot honey
2 tablespoons fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and slice each one in half horizontally
  2. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and sprinkle over the chicke
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brow
  4. Remove the skillet from heat, add crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken, and drizzle with hot honey
  5. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 12-18 minutes until cooked through
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with parsley or cilantro if desired

Notes

You can substitute chicken breasts with boneless skinless thighs for a juicier dish.

Add vegetables such as bell peppers or zucchini to the baking dish for a complete meal.
