Ingredients
1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled or a block
1/4 cup hot honey
2 tablespoons fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and slice each one in half horizontally
- Combine garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and sprinkle over the chicke
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brow
- Remove the skillet from heat, add crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken, and drizzle with hot honey
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 12-18 minutes until cooked through
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with parsley or cilantro if desired
Notes
You can substitute chicken breasts with boneless skinless thighs for a juicier dish.
Add vegetables such as bell peppers or zucchini to the baking dish for a complete meal.
