1 ½ pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs, trimmed

1 teaspoon Onion Powder
½ teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 pound Fresh Green Beans, trimmed
4 cloves Garlic, minced
¼ cup Chicken Broth
¼ cup Unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice (from 1 small lemon)
1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Zest (from 1 small lemon)
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and dried oregano
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove from skillet
- In the same skillet, add green beans and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp
- Push green beans aside, add garlic to the cleared space, and cook for 30 seconds. Then pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits
- Add butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until butter melts and sauce is combined. Taste and adjust seasoning
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, cover, and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately
