Description

Luxurious Lobster Crab Shrimp Mac And Cheese is an indulgent dish combining elbow macaroni with tender lobster, sweet crab, and succulent shrimp in a rich, creamy cheese sauce. Perfect for special occasions, this recipe showcases premium seafood and a blend of gourmet cheeses, creating a memorable culinary experience.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound Elbow Macaroni
1 pound Cooked Lobster Tail Meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
8 ounces Cooked Lump Crab Meat, picked over for shells
1 pound Cooked Medium Shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails removed
½ cup Unsalted Butter
½ cup All-Purpose Flour
4 cups Whole Milk, warmed
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ teaspoon Onion Powder
¼ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Pinch of Freshly Grated Nutmeg (optional)
1 teaspoon Sea Salt, plus more to taste
½ teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
4 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 cups Shredded Gruyere Cheese
1 cup Shredded Fontina Cheese
½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese, plus extra for topping
½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs, for topping
2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil salted water and cook elbow macaroni to al dente. Drain and set aside
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. Add flour to create a roux, whisking for 1-2 minutes
  3. Gradually whisk in warm milk, stirring until smooth and thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Add heavy cream and spices, then decrease heat and mix in cheeses until melted
  4. Season sauce with salt and pepper, then stir in cooked pasta
  5. Gently fold in lobster, crab, and shrimp. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with panko and Parmesa
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving

Notes

Using warm milk helps prevent lumps in the cheese sauce.

Be gentle when folding in seafood to maintain its texture.

Experiment with cheese varieties for different flavors.
