Description

This Melted Hawaiian Roll Cheese Pull combines soft, sweet Hawaiian rolls with gooey, melting cheese, making it a perfect comfort food for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Remove the Hawaiian sweet rolls from their package without separating them, and slice them horizontally
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish snugly
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and half of the cheddar cheese over the bottom half of the rolls
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back over the cheese layer
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top of the rolls
  7. Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, and black pepper
  8. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brow
  10. Let sit for a couple of minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm
