This Melted Hawaiian Roll Cheese Pull combines soft, sweet Hawaiian rolls with gooey, melting cheese, making it a perfect comfort food for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Remove the Hawaiian sweet rolls from their package without separating them, and slice them horizontally
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish snugly
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and half of the cheddar cheese over the bottom half of the rolls
- Place the top half of the rolls back over the cheese layer
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top of the rolls
- Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, and black pepper
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brow
- Let sit for a couple of minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm
