Description

One-Pan Steak Bite Tortellini is a comforting meal featuring tender steak bites, cheesy tortellini, and a rich, creamy sauce, all cooked in a single pan for minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 pound Beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch bites
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Onion powder
½ teaspoon Dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 cup Beef broth
1 (15-ounce) can Diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup Heavy cream
1 teaspoon Dried basil
¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes, optional
1 (19-ounce) package Refrigerated cheese tortellini
2 cups Fresh spinach
½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until coated
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak bites until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside
  3. Build the Sauce: Reduce heat, add beef broth to the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Stir in diced tomatoes, cream, dried basil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently
  4. Add Tortellini: Add tortellini to the sauce and cover. Cook for 8-10 minutes or according to package directions until tender
  5. Combine and Finish: Return seared steak to the skillet, add spinach, and stir until it wilts
  6. Stir in Cheese: Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan until melted. Adjust seasoning as needed
  7. Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately
