Description
Pineapple Brown Sugar Mississippi Lil’ Smokies Bites are a flavorful and easy appetizer combining beef cocktail sausages with a sweet and tangy glaze featuring pineapple and brown sugar, seasoned with Mississippi-style seasoning.
Ingredients
2 (14-ounce) packages Beef Cocktail Sausages
1 (20-ounce) can Pineapple Chunks, undrained
1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
1 (1-ounce) packet Original Ranch Seasoning Mix
1 (1-ounce) packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, cut into pats
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart or larger slow cooker with cooking spray
- Place the beef cocktail sausages into the bottom of the slow cooker in an even layer
- Pour the entire can of undrained pineapple chunks over the sausages
- Evenly sprinkle the packed brown sugar, ranch seasoning mix, and au jus gravy mix over the mixture. Do not stir yet
- Arrange the pats of butter on top of the mixture
- Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or on HIGH for 1.5-2 hours until the sauce is thick and bubbly
- Once cooked, stir to coat all the sausages in the sauce and serve warm

Feel free to make ahead and reheat. The flavors improve overnight.
