Ingredients
1 ½ pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs, trimmed
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
¼ cup Cornstarch
½ cup Mayonnaise
¼ cup Sweet Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha
1 tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Cilantro or Green Onions (optional)
Sesame Seeds for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, season with salt and pepper, and dredge in cornstarch
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken in batches for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through
- In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and garlic powder to make the bang bang sauce
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over it, and toss to coat. Warm through for 1-2 minutes
- Transfer to serving plates, garnish with cilantro or green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise.
You can customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of sriracha.
