Description
A cheerful Snowman Christmas Cheese Ball, creamy and colorful, perfect as a festive appetizer centerpiece for any holiday party.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- 1/3 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2–4 tbsp chopped parsley, divided
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (for snow effect)
- Decor: baby carrots, black olives, pretzel sticks, fresh herbs
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, scallions, peppers, bacon, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, and seasonings until smooth.
2. Divide mixture into two balls—one large, one small—for snowman body and head.
3. Roll balls in parsley and Parmesan for “snow.”
4. Stack smaller ball atop larger on a plate.
5. Decorate with carrots, olives, pretzels, herbs to make eyes, nose, buttons, arms, and accessories.
6. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Undecorated cheese ball base can be made ahead and stored up to 3 days.
Decorate just before serving for best appearance.
For pure-white snowman, roll in shredded mozzarella or Parmesan.
Serve with sturdy crackers, veggie slices, or breadsticks.
