Description

Strawberry Banana Pudding Dream is a delicious no-bake dessert that combines layers of creamy pudding, fresh strawberries, and bananas for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale

2 packages 3.4 ounce instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups cold milk
1 package 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
1 can 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 container 8 ounce whipped topping, thawed
1 package 12 ounce vanilla wafers
45 ripe but firm bananas, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture begins to thicken. Set aside
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined and lump-free. Stir in the pure vanilla extract
  3. Gently fold the prepared whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated. Slowly fold in the thickened vanilla pudding until smooth
  4. Spread a thin layer of the cream mixture on the bottom of a large trifle bowl or baking dish
  5. Arrange a single layer of vanilla wafers over the cream
  6. Place a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers
  7. Distribute a generous layer of sliced fresh strawberries over the bananas
  8. Spoon about one-third of the remaining cream mixture over the fruit, gently spreading it to cover everything
  9. Continue layering with vanilla wafers, bananas, strawberries, and cream mixture until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of the cream
  10. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, preferably overnight
  11. Before serving, garnish with extra fresh strawberry slices and banana slices

Notes

Chilling time is crucial for the best flavor.

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth mixture.
